Since the end of the 70s in the last century, Emilio Cao first and Rodrigo Romani later, introduce the use of harp in the new readings of the emerging new style of Galician folk, raised on traditional oral music, dancing and ancient singing or more recent addition to popular music, a long way was done by  groups and soloists from around the country. They adopted the harp providing it of  different accents and ways of interpretation.
